This kind of statement ,voiced to millions of people by an individual who is paid
millions of dollars a year to bring us "no spin" on the news of the day, is what
really excites me !
Why ? Because the defacto choice we all have comes down to the action we take
in regard to our life-force energy; believing there is no plan B , no choice, leaves
those millions who do so nowhere to go with their lives other than down and out
thru the dead-end streets of life...leaving me with all the "maybe" and "yes" people
to rely on.
WSRQ.COM is planning to create a future with all those positive life forces that will
leave no wiggle room for the nay-sayers, the lost and confused , the miss-informed
stubburn anchors of life.
(HINT)...turn your radio to a talk station...930,970,1240 etc. AM . Listen for a few
hours for a week to see if there isn't some semblance of aftertaste lingering
in your mind....that's something that doesnt quite jive with the intuitive, emotional
feeling you have of the persona you present to the world. If there is something you
feel bothering you after doing this little exercise you have to tune to WRSQ.COM and
rid yourself of this and help put SARASOTA FAR INTO THE FUTURE FOR THE KID'S

So how can we be excited about trying to deal with all these less than life-forces ?

Just one perfect example of what you will have to see suffered upon you now(rela-
tively soon) and for which all our following residents and visitors will have to
pay for in perpetuity is trails for rails..the greenway to Venice from Sarasota.
Various county and city and local governments(you and I ) are preparing to spend
upwards of 50 million dollars (present rate) to connect mid-county Sarasota with
mid-north-county Sarasota by ONE ADDITIONAL SURFACE ROAD . U.S. 41 and the Laurel
Honore connector is what is intended to resolve the automobile gridlock of the
year 2050. BUT! as the state of Florida knows well, there is always going to
be a plan B : that part of the greenway( 30 million potential taxpayer dollars ) from Clark Rd to Center RD at Ringling bridge which is dedicated to future transportation needs development.
Get excited ! GET INVOLVED ! SRQ is going to be the hub of a vibrant new future for
Southwest Florida , the "yes" in every travelers destination, the best way to utilize
about 100 million dollars being stolen from our residents for pure folley. No number
of affordable roads will meet the needs we can create by making us the safest,
kindest, most livable destination in Florida. Naples to Tampa to Daytona to West Palm
is the core of the most workable and livable piece of earth in our country.
If it isn't, or you just cant see it , talk to any developer who would give their last
nickel to be a part of what we have planned...or talk to Mr. Piccollo (I haven't) or
your local visionary or, if you haven't yet been given loud enough notice, visit
the Gulf Coast Business Alliance (?) site.
